Heat Stress Awareness

This Heat Stress Awareness course provides a general understanding of the potential hazards of heat stress and the control of those hazards in areas where workers may be exposed to heat. Participants will learn about the causes of heat stress, heat cramps and heat stroke, as well as strategies to prevent heat stress.

This Heat Stress Awareness course is suitable for anyone who might be exposed to heat stress as part of their work, or anyone who would like to improve their knowledge of this topic.

Course delivery and assessment

The session is interactive and participants will be encouraged to get involved in practical exercises and group discussions.

Participants will be required to complete short written assessments. On successful completion of the course and assessment, participants will be issued with a Statement of Completion.
